Ryan co-founded Paragon after working as a System Designer for one of the industry's pioneer integration firms in Indianapolis. Prior to Indy, he was a sales manager for a Middle Tennessee based security company and assisted in the creation of their custom audio/video division. He's also worked in custom AV retail and got his start in the industry right out of college selling security systems door-to-door. On a trip back home to visit family in 2004, he decided to drive around town to see what the home market looked like. He quickly discovered a need for what he had been doing in Nashville and Indianapolis for the prior few years and gave Matt a call. Ryan is a native to the area attending school in Evansville and spending the summers on his grandparents' farm outside of Owensboro, KY. He attended the University of Southern Indiana and was a member of the business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi. Ryan is a huge car nut and enjoys boating with his family down at Lake Barkley.

Matt came from an entrepreneural background growing up in a 3-generation family jewelry store. He began his career right out of college working for the same security system company as Ryan, which is how they met. He started off as an installer but quickly rose through the ranks to become their Operations Manager within his first year. In 2002 he packed his bags, grabbed a few friends, and moved to Indianapolis to start his own security company: Action Alarm. In 2005 Ryan came to Matt with the idea of joining forces and take the knowledge they had learned working in larger cities and applying it to the Evansville area. While very successful up in Indy, once Paragon got off the ground Matt decided to focus all his efforts into his new venture. Matt is a native to the Newburgh/Chandler area and graduated from Castle High School where he was a state champion in Wrestling. Matt also wrestled while in college at the Indiana University. Matt enjoys spending his free time with his family and working on various projects around his property. He is also the Assistant Wrestling Coach at Castle.
